Portraits on Film

It was just over a year ago when Florida Film Takeover was born. It started as an outlet to learn the art of film photography and has grown into a community of photographers of all levels and medium. Jake and I set out to create an environment of inclusion that values community over competition and encourages stepping out of comfort zones to explore photography in new ways.

We just had our 12th takeover and I shot more rolls at this one than any since we started. It has sparked in me a new love and appreciation for photography and it has stretched me in more ways than just taking photos. I couldn't be more thankful for this community.

I'd love for you to join us.

Special THANK YOU to 801 E. Main & The Poor Porker for letting us invade your space for a bit.
